Selin Akkulak
Bio
Selin Evani Akkulak (1996) began her acting career at the age of 12 with a permanent role in the children’s series Vrijland. In 2020, she played her first leading role in the television film ECHO, directed by Daphne Lucker. She has also appeared in various television series, including Van der Valk, Oogappels, and the Dutch hit series Een Grote Familie.
In 2022, the new female revenge series SiHAME was released, featuring Selin as one of the main characters. Shortly after, she secured her first international role in the crime series FBI: International, broadcast on CBS. In spring 2025, she filmed a new series under the direction of Shariff Nasr, with the production yet to be officially announced.
Over the past years, Selin has also been active in theatre. She took the lead in Laura H and portrayed Kitty in the marathon performance Het Achtste Leven with Theatergroep Oostpool. In 2024–2025, she starred in The Almighty Sometimes, directed by Daria Bukvić, and later this year she will join Orkater in the production Mother of Europe, playing the role of Marie Antoinette.
