Bio
Lina Heijmans is an Amsterdam-based actress who graduated from the Amsterdam School of the Arts and the Kleinkunst Academy in 2023.
During her final year, Lina portrayed the character of Marina in the Dutch series De Droom van de Jeugd (Childhood Dreams), written by Marnie Blok, directed by Bram Schouw, and produced by Top Kapi.
For her graduation project, she performed a monologue at Theater Frascati in Uur Blauw (Meet Me at Dawn), a piece written by Zinnie Harris and developed alongside directors Roel Pronk and Erasmus Mackenna. The performance, inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, allowed Lina to explore themes of radical softness.
Lina also appeared in the documentary Mag Ik Je Aangraken (Can I Touch You), directed by Tamar van den Dop and produced by Witfilm. In this intimate film, she joined other Dutch actors to discuss their experiences with intimate scenes on set. The documentary premiered at the Nederlands Film Festival and is available to stream on NPO Start.
As a voice actress, Lina has lent her voice to several LEGO commercials, further expanding her range in the industry.
In February, Lina played the role of Koosje in the Dutch series Het Verhaal van Nederland – Amsterdam (The Story of the Netherlands – Amsterdam), directed by Willem Gerritsen and produced by Pupkinfilm. The series is now available to watch on NPO Start.
