Kirsten Bakker

Kirsten Bakker is een Nederlandse actrice en is afgestudeerd aan het internationale Fonact (Fontainebleau, Frankrijk).

Zij heeft nationale- en internationale producties gedaan in theater, festivals en voor de camera. Zo was zij onder andere te zien op het Shakespeare Upon Avon Festival in Avon (Hamlet, geregisseerd door Lucinda Millward), de productie Chekovia (Yelena, Irina, Théâtre Municipal de Fontainebleau, geregisseerd door Joseph Blatchley) en het Dickensfestival in Den Haag (Nelly Ternan).  Andere regisseurs waar zij mee heeft gewerkt zijn Christian Burgess, Jeremy Banster, Kirsty Bushell en Olivia Ross. 

Daarnaast maakt en speelt zij ook in haar eigen werk voor theater (Paars, Puberbrein, Leidsche schouwburg) en short film (Sophia, Borre appetit, geregisseerd door Maia Novi). Kirsten is 1/3 van het internationale theatergezelschap Blue Fountain Company.

Kirsten Bakker is a Dutch actress and is graduated at the international school of performing arts Fonact (Fontainebleau, France).

She has worked in national and international productions in theater, on festivals and on screen. She performed at the Shakespeare Upon Avon Festival in Avon (Hamlet, directed by Lucinda Millward), in the production Chekovia (Yelena, Irina, Théâtre Municipal de Fontainebleau, directed by Joseph Blatchley) and at the Dickens Festival in The Hague (NellyTernan). Other directors she has worked with include Christian Burgess, Jeremy Banster, Kirsty Bushell and Olivia Ross. 

She also writes her own work and performs in it, both in theater (Purple, Adolescent brain, Leidsche schouwburg, The Netherlands) as in short film (Sophia, Borre appetit, directed by Maia Novi). Kirsten is 1/3 of the international collective Blue Fountain Company.
