Keanu Visscher

Keanu Visscher is a Dutch actor whose career began at the age of six. With over a decade of experience in both theatre and television, he has established himself as a dynamic performer with remarkable range and depth. Keanu received his early training at DTA (Preliminary Theater Training) and the Wolf Academy, before earning his Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious ArtEZ Theatre School in 2021.

On screen, Keanu has built an impressive portfolio with roles in acclaimed Dutch television series such as Der Amsterdam Krimi, Het Verhaal van Nederland, Weemoedt, Flikken Maastricht, and Moordvrouw. His film credits include 100% Coco, Gek van Geluk, and Cocon, along with standout performances in Van God Los and De Slet van 6 VWO.

In theatre, he has demonstrated his versatility across a wide range of productions, including Japanse Sprookjes (Toneelschuur & Toneelmakerij), Midzomernachtsdroom (directed by Daria Bukvic, Oostpool), and De Bananengeneratie (directed by Charli Chung, Oostpool).

2025 marks a pivotal year in Keanu’s career. He will take the stage as Christian in Cyrano, a major touring musical production by Bos Theaterproducties, directed by Jasper Verheugd. He will also appear in the television series Rijkdom and Het Klokhuis.

Internationally, Keanu is set to make his feature film debut in The Chronology of Water, the directorial debut of Kristen Stewart. He will also feature in the upcoming American feature American Sweatshop, directed by Uta Briesewitz (Stranger Things, Black Mirror), starring Lili Reinhart, Daniela Melchior, and Joel Fry.
