Bio
July Janssen was born on the 22nd of October, 1994, in the Netherlands.
As a child, she always had a vivid imagination and spent much time playing tv-series for family and friends. After seeing the movie “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”, at the age of twelve she decided to become an actress.
Her motto: “What a beauty, that I can live a hundred lives in one”
Recently (2017) she has played in the latest feature film by Mark Weistra, ‘De Club van 5’ (cinema release 2018), “De Spa” – tv series and one of the main roles in the popular dutch feature ‘Jezus van de Javastraat’ by Dutch director Bram van Splunteren, and “Het Leven Is Verrukkuluk” by Dutch director Frans Weisz.
She has appeared in many television commercials, sketches (BALLINNN), music videos (Dub FX, C2C, Give Me A Romeo by Bailey Rod (ft. Sophie)) and numerous short movies playing a whole variety of characters and types.
She started training at the age of 12 and joined Dutch musical theatre ensemble ‘De Jonge Stem’.
In 2016 she graduated at faaam (film actors academy Amsterdam) and she is continuously working on her crafts by studying different techniques with teachers like Steven Ditmyer, Frank Herrebout, Robert Ceelen, Renée Harp, Willemijn van der Ree, and others.
July Janssen is also an independent entrepreneur running her own company ACT & MORE assisting productions throughout all set departments, organizing actor training, coaching, and casting consultancy.
