Florence Vos Weeda

Florence started her acting training with theatergroup Amsterdam junior in 2014 where she landed the role of Opheliain the play Hamlet. It was because of her performance that she was asked to audition for the television series Spangas and became part of the permanent cast.

After a year, she left the series and was accepted at the Academy of Dramatic Arts Maastricht. 

Alongside her study she continued to work in films and series such as Flikken Rotterdam and the original Netflix series Ares. After graduating in 2020, she landed her first leading roles in the acclaimed NPO series De slet van 6vwo and the multiple award- winning short Wall #4 . This was followed by roles in the feature film Taste of Love, the series Rundfunk and the feature film Patsers, directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah.
In addition to filming, she also performed in theater plays for Kobra theater productions and HNTjong.

Currently, she’s preparing for a shooting period of a series in which she plays one of the leading roles.
